Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is just one component of our competitive Total Rewards package, which includes wellness programs designed to support our team members' financial, physical, and mental well-being. Specific benefits—such as day-one medical coverage, 401(k) matching, and annual performance bonus—may vary by position. Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.

General Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the operations and maintenance of equipment to provide utilities such as light, heating, air conditioning, building, and room maintenance.
- Inspects equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication.
- Responsible for all general maintenance and repair of minor problems throughout the building as directed by a supervisor.
- Ensures adherence to OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures.
- Performs minor structural repairs including sheet rock, doors, trim, and plumbing.
- Reports inventories and work schedules to maintenance supervisor every day.
- Conducts preventative maintenance.
- Performs scheduled and nonscheduled repair, maintenance and installation of machinery, tools, equipment and/or associated equipment to ensure continuous and safe operation of the property.
- Directly or indirectly supports the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems and water distribution, including fire suppression and sewerage facilities.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED): or combination of experience and training preferred.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and direct activities of hotel maintenance mechanics.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, and walk throughout the duration of shift.
- Excel both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
- Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
