Job Details:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Maintenance Generalist: Must possess a minimum of 6 months mechanical work/experience and/or education. Can be a combination of experience/education, if equaling 6 months. Experience must be documented in the work history section of the application or in attached resume.
Maintenance Scale Tech: candidates must possess maintenance and electronic experience and/or education - or combination of both, if equaling 6 months. Experience must be documented in the work history section of the application or in attached resume.
6 months of verifiable maintenance experience and/or education
Must have basic computer knowledge/skills
Knowledge and ability to work with 480 volt 3 phase electricity
Experience with pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical automated process control system, PLC operations, inverters, and basic electricity
Must possess mechanical skills
Must perform pm task on equipment daily and weekly
Must perform trouble shooting activities daily
Must be proactive in reducing downtime on all mechanical equipment
Ability to weld using appropriate tools accordingly
Must be willing to travel for advanced training classes
Must have good trouble shooting skills
Must be dependable and responsible
Must be Safety Oriented(learning and following Core Safety mandates
Must be willing to work 5-6 days a week with overtime
Must be willing to stoop, bend, climb ladders and work overhead
Must be flexible to work in cold and or hot temperatures
Must be cooperative and follow instruction carefully
Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation: Pay based on experience/skill. Range $21.35 hr. to $29.95/hr.

- 3 x Rule: If you have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times you are ineligible for rehire.
- Rehire waiting period: 6 months or 180 days.
