Maintenance Associate - Electrician

About This Role

This role is responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of automated conveying systems and support operations within an automated environment. It involves maintaining, troubleshooting, constructing, and installing warehouse facilities, including electrical, mechanical, building automation, HVAC, fire alarm, and UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair building equipment, including conveyor systems, hydrogen systems, HVAC units, garbage compacting equipment, fire doors, emergency generators, and fire pumps
• Repair material handling equipment, including overhead doors, dock plates, trailer restraints, battery chargers, and battery change equipment
• Interpret blueprints, including electrical, mechanical, and structural
• Commit to promoting health and safety in a team environment
• Understand and effectively follow all procedures and policies, including those established by the equipment manufacturer
• Perform all duties in accordance with Provincial laws, training, and company procedures
• Maintain strong knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures
• Maintain productivity and hygiene standards in accordance with policy

Requirements

• Age: 18 or older
• License: Industrial Electrician Trade Certification or Certified Construction/Maintenance Electrician (only for Mechanics who are electricians)

• Schedule: starting hourly rate 48.09
