Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRI Technologist Lead

About This Role

This lead technologist role involves preparing and positioning patients for MRI scans, ensuring high-quality images, and maintaining equipment functionality. The position includes patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education, as well as administering contrast media and medications within regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body
• Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents
• Ensure equipment is properly functioning; report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel

Requirements

• ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) within twelve (12) months of hire date
• BLS within 90 days of hire
