Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support across multiple courtrooms, including data entry, filing, and document preparation
• Assist with legal research, drafting legal documents, and managing case files with accuracy and confidentiality
• Facilitate communication between judges, attorneys, litigants, and court staff to ensure smooth proceedings
• Manage courtroom schedules, coordinate hearings, and prepare necessary paperwork for hearings and trials
• Handle cash transactions related to fines or fees with precision and accountability
• Maintain organized records of filings, court documents, and administrative logs in accordance with legal standards
• Support administrative tasks such as answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service to visitors

Requirements

• Prior experience in a legal or judicial setting as a paralegal or legal secretary is highly desirable
• Demonstrated proficiency in litigation support, legal drafting, and research activities
• Strong office experience with familiarity in word processing software and data entry systems
• Proven clerical skills including filing, record keeping, and document management
• Experience in legal administrative roles involving customer service and handling sensitive information
• Organizational skills that enable multitasking across various courts or departments efficiently
• Basic cash handling knowledge combined with office administrative experience to ensure accuracy in financial transactions
