About This Role
Machine Operators are responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals looking to develop their skills and contribute to production and quality goals.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment, including cold heading, roll threading, and pointing machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications
- Select, install, and adjust machine tooling to meet production requirements
- Inspect finished products using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine machine maintenance, lubrication, and preventative inspections
- Adjust machine settings, speeds, and feed rates as necessary
- Assist with packaging, stacking, and transporting finished products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read blueprints and understand manufacturing specifications
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with elevated noise levels
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive tasks as needed
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Nice to have:
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience
- Experience with cold heading, threading, or pointing equipment

- Shifts: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM); 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM)
