POSITION INFO: Our client, a forward-thinking FinTech operating in a highly data-driven environment, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their Decision Science team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong professional who enjoys taking machine learning solutions from experimentation through to production. Working alongside data scientists, software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders, you will build scalable and reliable machine learning systems that enhance customer experiences, improve operational efficiency, and support critical business decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern machine learning, MLOps, cloud technologies, and AI-driven solutions while making a tangible impact within the business. Key Responsibilities: Deploy machine learning and AI solutions into scalable production environments. Develop and maintain document intelligence and information extraction systems using OCR and AI-assisted workflows. Convert analytical models and prototypes into robust, modular Python applications and services. Build batch, real-time, and event-driven scoring solutions and APIs. Implement MLOps best practices including CI/CD, testing, version control, monitoring, and orchestration. Monitor model performance, model drift, system reliability, and infrastructure costs. Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience developing production-grade solutions in Python. Strong understanding of machine learning model development, evaluation, and deployment. Experience deploying models via APIs, pipelines, or automated scoring solutions. Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets. Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices. Ability to troubleshoot production issues across data, models, integrations, and pipelines. Skills: Python SQL Snowflake / Snowpark dbt XGBoost / LightGBM REST APIs Docker CI/CD MLOps Tooling Streamlit Advantageous: Experience within Financial Services, FinTech, Lending, Credit Risk, Fraud, or another regulated environment. Experience with MLOps platforms, experiment tracking, workflow orchestration, and model monitoring. Exposure to document processing, OCR, and semi-structured data extraction. Apply now!
