About This Role
This full-time Lube Technician role involves performing routine vehicle maintenance and inspections, ensuring efficiency and accuracy according to dealership and factory standards. The position is ideal for someone with experience working on various vehicle types who is detail-oriented and possesses a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Replace oil and air filters
- Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replace or replenish as necessary
- Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety and/or service work is required or recommended
- Participate in and keep up with manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events
- Understand, keep updated on, and comply with Federal, State, and Local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner and wear appropriate safety equipment
- Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean
- Keep shop areas neat and clean
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with working on all types of vehicles
- Current, valid Driver's License with a driving record that meets insurance company standards
- Willingness to submit to and ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours
