Long/Short Equity Analyst (TMT/Industrials)
A highly regarded Single Manager Hedge Fund is seeking a Long/Short Equity Analyst to join its investment team covering the TMT or Industrials sectors. This is an opportunity to work directly alongside a successful Portfolio Manager with a strong track record of investment performance and a demonstrated history of developing analysts into long-term investors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep fundamental research and financial analysis across your coverage universe.
- Develop and present differentiated long and short investment ideas.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and industry frameworks.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and key catalysts impacting investment theses.
- Utilize expert networks, industry contacts, and proprietary research resources to generate unique insights.
- Partner closely with the Portfolio Manager and contribute to investment discussions and portfolio decisions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of investing, equity research, or relevant industry experience covering TMT or Industrials.
- Prior Long/Short Equity investing experience is required.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, accounting, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop independent investment views and generate actionable ideas.
- Intellectual curiosity, humility, strong work ethic, and passion for investing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
