What are we looking for?

A law school graduate with strong motivation to start a long-term career in a corporate legal environment, with a particular interest in commercial/customer contracts. You are proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a dynamic, international setting.

Job Description

As a Customer Contracts Intern, you will support the Customer Contracts team in the preparation, review, and administration of customer-facing commercial agreements. Your responsibilities may include:

• Maintain and administer customer contract records in relevant databases, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.

• Support drafting and reviewing customer contracts (e.g., MSAs, amendments, extensions, SOWs, standard addenda) using SLB templates and playbooks.

• Assist with contract negotiation activities by preparing mark-ups, issue lists, and comparison summaries.

• Help ensure contract compliance with internal policies, approval workflows, and required legal safeguards.

• Identify and escalate customer-related contractual risks (e.g., liability, indemnities, insurance, confidentiality, IP, compliance clauses) and support mitigation under guidance.

• Provide support on interpretation of contract clauses for internal stakeholders, escalating complex matters as needed.

• Collaborate with internal Subject Matter Experts (commercial, finance, tax, risk, HSE, security, privacy, trade compliance) to collect inputs and align contract positions.

• Support the team with administrative and project tasks (tracking, reporting, organizing contract documentation, preparing standard communications).

• Law degree completed (fresh graduate or near graduation).

• Strong interest in building a corporate legal/commercial contracts career.

• Strong attention to detail, good organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate cross-functionally.

• English: must-have (written and spoken).

The monthly compensation for the internship program is 4,444 RON gross. This amount is fixed and applies uniformly to all full-time internship roles within the GBS Internship Program.
