Position Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed healthcare professional. Ensures professional accountability for patient care, coordinates with other departments, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent experience with licensure
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- Preferred certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., and LPN-IV certification (where applicable)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform essential physical functions like bending and reaching
Key Responsibilities: Utilizes nursing skills to deliver patient care, collaborates with healthcare teams, maintains patient confidentiality, and upholds patient rights. Contributes to a compassionate, team-oriented environment.
