Bio
Fine art photographer Louis Dazy channels the mystique of the night into striking visual compositions that bring together portraiture, cityscapes, and lightwork in total harmony. His very first series Neon Life, picturing silhouettes and portraits with neon signs, started to gain attention in 2016 and being published in many art and photo magazines by the end of 2019. His first book "Dreams in Technicolor" was published in 2019, with 2.000 copies sold worldwide.

40 photos, 40 neons, 40 memories, 40 double exposures on film, 4 years of photography,
I started this series in 2015 and went on until 2019, this series it is an ode to nostalgia, a longing for a home that no longer exists or has never existed. A cinematic image of nostalgia is a double exposure, or a superimposition of two images—of home and abroad, of past and present, of dream and everyday life. The moment we try to force it into a single image, it breaks the frame or burns the surface.
These photos are made using the technique of double exposure on film, shooting two times on the same part of the film, often not knowing how it will come out.
