Loss Prevention Officer

About This Role

Protecting the store from theft by monitoring activity and reporting suspicious behavior is the main focus of this role. The officer maintains a visible security presence and supports store operations, making it suitable for someone with a professional demeanor and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store activity and help prevent theft
• Observe and report suspicious activity
• Maintain a visible security presence
• Complete incident and activity reports
• Support store staff and operations teams

Requirements

• Prior security or loss prevention experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Professional demeanor
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
• Ability to work under stress / pressure
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Ability to wear a uniform

Important Details

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, flexible based on operational needs; store hours 8:00 am
