Loss Prevention Officer

About This Role

This role involves greeting customers, conducting voluntary bag checks, and completing end-of-day reports as part of a Loss Prevention team. It suits individuals who can maintain a professional appearance and provide a visible security presence to deter theft.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet customers entering the store
• Maintain a visible security presence to help deter theft and protect stock
• Greet customers upon their arrival at the store
• Conduct voluntary bag checks
• Identify potential risks and coordinate response with the in-store team
• Maintain a record of all people entering and exiting the site
• Provide accurate incident reports

Requirements

• Hold a valid WA security licence
• Must be First Aid certified
• Be reliable and willing to cover shifts at short notice
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Maintain a tidy appearance
• Be able to consistently keep a positive and friendly attitude towards customers
• Must be willing to work day or night shifts

• Schedule: one weekend rostered on per fortnight
