We're looking for experienced Loss Prevention Officers who understand that modern retail security is about far more than preventing theft. You'll be a visible presence throughout our store, confidently managing risk, responding professionally to incidents and delivering an exceptional first and last impression for every client who walks through our doors.
This is a role for professionals who can balance strong security awareness with outstanding customer service.
About the Role
Working across a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays, you'll rotate between Loss Prevention and Doorman responsibilities depending on operational requirements.
- Maintaining a visible security presence throughout the store
- Patrolling internal and external areas to minimise risk and deter theft
- Monitoring CCTV, alarms and access points where required
- Responding to incidents calmly using strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
- Identifying hazards, reporting near misses and supporting emergency procedures
- Completing accurate incident reports and supporting investigations
- Welcoming clients, visitors and brand partners with warmth and professionalism
- Managing queues and store access during busy trading periods
- Creating a premium first and last impression of the Faradays brand
- Working closely with the Loss Prevention Manager and wider leadership team
About You
- Previous frontline security experience
- A current Certificate of Approval (COA) Licence (essential)
- A sound understanding of the Crimes Act, Health and Safety at Work Act and Privacy Act
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
- Sound judgement, integrity and discretion
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Professional presentation suited to a premium retail environment
- Current First Aid Certificate preferred but not essential
- Experience in premium retail, hospitality or luxury environments is advantageous
