Loss Prevention Officer

We're looking for experienced Loss Prevention Officers who understand that modern retail security is about far more than preventing theft. You'll be a visible presence throughout our store, confidently managing risk, responding professionally to incidents and delivering an exceptional first and last impression for every client who walks through our doors.

This is a role for professionals who can balance strong security awareness with outstanding customer service.

About the Role

Working across a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays, you'll rotate between Loss Prevention and Doorman responsibilities depending on operational requirements.

• Maintaining a visible security presence throughout the store
• Patrolling internal and external areas to minimise risk and deter theft
• Monitoring CCTV, alarms and access points where required
• Responding to incidents calmly using strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
• Identifying hazards, reporting near misses and supporting emergency procedures
• Completing accurate incident reports and supporting investigations
• Welcoming clients, visitors and brand partners with warmth and professionalism
• Managing queues and store access during busy trading periods
• Creating a premium first and last impression of the Faradays brand
• Working closely with the Loss Prevention Manager and wider leadership team

About You

• Previous frontline security experience
• A current Certificate of Approval (COA) Licence (essential)
• A sound understanding of the Crimes Act, Health and Safety at Work Act and Privacy Act
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
• Sound judgement, integrity and discretion
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Professional presentation suited to a premium retail environment
• Current First Aid Certificate preferred but not essential
• Experience in premium retail, hospitality or luxury environments is advantageous
