Logistics Manager

About This Role

This role is for an organized leader to oversee the movement of orders to vendors, ensuring shelves are stocked and customers are happy. The Logistics Manager will oversee the delivery driver team, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of donuts. This position suits someone who values people and process, seeing logistics as a way to support both the team and the community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor deliveries and schedule/train drivers
• Build and maintain dependable relationships with suppliers and delivery partners
• Communicate with bakery and front-of-house teams to address any concerns
• Identify ways to improve efficiency and improve training
• Mentor and support staff, creating opportunities for advancement through training and cross-functional learning
• Respond calmly to disruptions such as delayed deliveries or seasonal demand spikes
• Communicate staffing needs

Requirements

• Experience in logistics, delivery driving, scheduling, or operations, ideally in food or retail
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple moving parts at once
• Comfortable with technology and ability to coach and mentor others
• Clear communication and a collaborative, supportive leadership style
• Attention to detail for accuracy in deliveries and quality standards
• Problem-solving instincts and the flexibility to adapt to busy periods

Important Details

• Schedule: 5am to 12pm Monday through Friday, with willingness to be flexible and manage a team of drivers with varying work schedules
