Duties
Major Duties:

Provides functional direction and subject matter expertise in the development and implementation of AF wide innovative logistics business processes consistent with the overall Logistics Enterprise Architecture (LogEA) and may serve as project team lead.

Performs Business Process Reengineering for Logistics Business Areas.

Represents A4PT with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

On complex topics, issues, projects, and programs, prepares and delivers written correspondence and oral presentations used to secure support for program or budget, resolves controversial issues, conveys proposed changes to assigned programs, and provides critical status to senior leaders.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-13) or equivalent. Specialized experience is experience in business process re-engineering as it relates to AF Maintenance and Supply Chain Management operations. Also, experience in project management and as a lead process facilitator for the Service Development and Delivery Process are also required.
Time-in-Grade (TIG) Restrictions for GS Positions: Applicants must have served at least 52 weeks at the GS-13 or higher grade within the Federal Civil Service (or equivalent in an alternate pay system) to be considered for referral. The purpose of TIG restrictions is to prevent excessively rapid promotions in competitive service GS positions and to protect competitive principles.
Part-Time or Unpaid Experience: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
Volunteer Work Experience: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
