Duties
· Provides program oversight to assure timely operational support, integration and execution of new or changing logistical management concepts
· Conducts studies, reviews and analyses of brigade-wide logistics posture
· Makes presentations and participates in conferences with responsible representatives of industry and other Government activities
· Performs logistics planning for the organization by analyzing the mission, establishing program objectives and developing short and long-range plans for accomplishment of those objectives
Qualifications

Experience required: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: developing logistics policy; conducting operational unit reviews for adherence to logistics regulations; and analyzing logistics performance to detect developing trends. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:
· Knowledge of Logistics regulations, principles and procedures
· Knowledge of Logistics projects and programs
· Skill in Analytical Methods and Techniques
· Ability to communicate orally and in writing
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the GS-12 grade (or equivalent).
