About This Role
This role involves extensive training to become a subject matter expert in logistics and supply chain. You will work with transportation partners to coordinate freight movement and provide support to sales teams to help grow the company.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate rates and secure capacity with transportation partners to move freight at favorable and competitive pricing
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to support daily shipment execution
- Communicate with internal sales teams and transportation partners to build and maintain ongoing relationships
- Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time
- Input and process accurate shipment data in our state-of-the-art systems
Requirements
- 1+ year customer service or sales experience
- Hall of fame work ethic
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work full-time, in-office, in a fast-paced open environment
- Bachelor
