We are looking for a reliable, multi-talented Logistics & Route Coordinator to join our team in Hayward. In this role, you will play a key part in managing daily route loads, ensuring our driver fleet is dispatched efficiently, loading trucks when necessary, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Route & Fleet Management: Dispatch drivers, schedule daily routes, and coordinate load distribution efficiently across the Bay Area.
Hands-on Truck Loading: Assist with staging, organizing, and physically loading/unloading trucks as needed for daily dispatch.
Customer Service: Direct customer interaction—handling phone calls, tracking updates, resolving issues, and ensuring on-time delivery communication.
Operations & Systems: Data entry, creating shipping documentation, managing customer portals, and updating delivery logs on computer software.
Qualifications
Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel/Word, email dispatch tools, logistics software).
Solid communication skills for phone and digital customer support.
Ability to handle physical requirements involved in truck loading and warehouse movement.
High attention to detail, strong local geographical knowledge (Hayward & Bay Area routes), and problem-solving skills under fast-moving deadlines.
Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,200.00 per month
Work Location: In person
