About the role

Job Description: Job Title: Logistics Analyst – Ocean Freight Bookings Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Professional specializing in Ocean Freight operations to support our global renewable energy supply chain, particularly in the solar tracker manufacturing sector . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing international logistics operations, ensuring efficient coordination between suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee freight bookings and coordinate all shipment activities with suppliers, freight forwarders, and ocean carriers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure cargo readiness, accurate shipping documentation, and on-time dispatch from suppliers’ factory to Port of Origin.
  • Act as the primary logistics liaison for international project teams across multiple time zones, maintaining flexibility to support global operations.
  • Lead weekly supplier performance reviews, analyzing key metrics such as cargo readiness and the timely submission of booking forms to freight forwarders.
  • Manage and strengthen vendor relationships, monitoring freight forwarder performance and ensuring adherence to agreed service level expectations.
  • Ensure that any delays in Cargo Ready Dates (CRD) are promptly reported to the planning team/ Booking Manager for proactive resolution.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure that booking forms are shared with freight forwarders 1–2 weeks prior to the allocation week, enabling smooth scheduling and shipment planning.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or International Business.
  • 6–8 years of experience in ocean freight operations within manufacturing, freight forwarding, or ocean carrier environments.
  • Experience in the solar trackers or solar components is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent coordination, analytical, and English communication skills with the ability to manage complex international shipments.
