LOCUMS Pediatric Neurology CALL Opportunity in Greenville, NC
The Maynard Children’s Hospital at ECU Health Medical Center and ECU Health Neurology-Greenville are seeking a board-certified Pediatric Neurologist to provide call coverage for pediatric neurology care for an established practice located Greenville, North Carolina. A minimum of one year of experience is required.
Coverage Needed As soon as credentialed - ongoing
Friday-Friday 8am-8am
**Preference is one week a month**

- Friday-Friday 8am to 8am call schedule
- Will LT be required to remain on site while on call: no
- Will LT be expected to serve as backup in ER: no
- Will LT be required to respond to codes: no
- ICU/Critical Care Duties: yes-consults
- ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed level 1 trauma center, is home to a 24-bed NSICU as well as a large rehab center providing both inpatient and outpatient support to neurology patients
- Required Procedures: EEG
- Required BLS certification from The American Heart Association
- ECU Health Medical Center is home to an established clinical neuroscience program inclusive of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring, and neuro-oncology
