About the role
Role: Covering adult neurosurgery on a call basis with beeper call and a
20-minute response time.
Responsibilities: Providing general and adult neurosurgery consultations, managing approximately 3 patients per 24-hour call period, and handling an average of 8 phone consults per shift.
Supporting team members with APPs available on first call and maintaining a call ratio of 1:3 with 100% callback.
Ensuring high-quality patient care through phone consultations and call coverage.
Qualifications & Skills: Experience in general and adult neurosurgery.
Strong communication skills, ability to respond promptly, and capacity to manage adult neurosurgical cases effectively.
Key Duties: Providing call coverage, supporting adult neurosurgical patients, and participating in ongoing PRN coverage.
Utilizing available APP support, managing phone consults, and ensuring timely responses.
