About the role
Role Overview: This position involves providing inpatient cardiology coverage in a hospital setting, primarily focusing on interventional and noninvasive cases. The clinician will work 24-hour shifts , managing approximately 10-15 patients per shift, with responsibilities including NUC reading and activity, and active fluoroscopy certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing a mix of interventional (75%) and noninvasive (25%) cardiology procedures
- Responding promptly within 20 minutes to urgent calls
- Engaging in inpatient care and diagnostic activities
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical experience
- Active fluoroscopy certification
- Experience with NUC reading and activity
Benefits & Compensation: Competitive hourly rates from $325.00 to $400.00, including base, overtime, call, and holiday pay. Additional support includes pre-paid travel and housing, malpractice coverage, licensing assistance, and cost reimbursement.
