Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
- Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and assessments
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients on health management and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay current with best practices and medical advancements
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of relevant medical practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical medical practices
- Prior experience in a locum or contract role is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Patient Census: 12 per day
Case Types: Preventive care, acute care, and chronic disease management
EMR: CPRS
Any state license accepted
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
