Loan Processor

About This Role

The Loan Processor is responsible for handling applications and retail installment contracts from various vehicle dealerships, ensuring compliance with regulations, and verifying documentation to fund loans. This role suits a detail-oriented individual with experience in financial services who is looking for professional development and growth.

Responsibilities

• Process applications and Retail Installment Contracts from auto, recreational vehicle (RV), watercraft, motorcycle, and all-terrain vehicle (ATV) dealerships
• Verify loan contracts, income verification, and review supporting documentation to fund loans
• Maintain compliance with all regulations including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience within financial services
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations
• Knowledge of TFCU lending guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills to prioritize assignments and projects
• Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment
• Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority
• TFCU University certification required

Nice to have:

• Experience in new accounts, lobby lending, or loan processing

Important Details

• Schedule: Normally works a weekday schedule, but may be required to work evenings, holidays, or weekends; may be required to travel overnight with or without notice
