Working behind the scenes to keep loan applications moving smoothly is the core of this job in an award-winning mortgage and lending team. It suits a motivated and proactive administrator who is highly organised, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting clients through their lending journey.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage loan applications and supporting documentation
• Follow structured workflows and processes to ensure applications progress efficiently
• Maintain accurate client records and notes across systems
• Act as the central point of coordination between lenders, solicitors, accountants, clients, and other stakeholders to proactively manage applications and help drive successful, on-time settlements
• Confidently communicate with clients over the phone
• Follow up on outstanding information and documentation
• Keep clients updated throughout the loan process
• Build strong relationships and provide exceptional service
• Work through challenges and identify solutions independently
• Take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
• Prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks at once
• Support continuous process improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Confidence communicating over the phone and building rapport with clients
• Ability to work independently and think through challenges
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative
• Team-first attitude and willingness to support others
• Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
• Previous administration, loan processing, banking, mortgage broking, or customer service experience is highly regarded but not essential
