Job Description We are seeking a Loan Processor to review and process loan applications from submission through approval. This role involves handling borrower financial documents including tax returns, bank statements, and credit reports. A background check and credit screening are required for all loan processing positions.
Responsibilities
- Review incoming loan applications for completeness and accuracy
- Collect and verify borrower financial documentation including income and asset verification
- Enter loan data into the origination system and track application status
- Communicate with borrowers and loan officers on outstanding conditions
- Ensure all loan files comply with regulatory and internal guidelines
- Meet processing volume targets and turnaround time requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling sensitive borrower financial documents
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and credit screening
- No prior loan processing experience required — full training provided
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
