About This Role

Loan processors review loan approvals and work with borrowers to gather appropriate documentation for loan packages. This role suits an experienced professional who can work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Review initial loan approval and work with borrower to gather appropriate documentation
• Collect all required documentation for the loan package
• Create a loan submission package for the Underwriting department
• Submit files to assigned Underwriter
• Satisfy all conditions when received from Underwriter
• Communicate with other professionals, including attorneys, county clerks, and title companies

Requirements

• 10+ years processing residential mortgage loans (FHA, VA, Conventional/Purchase, Refinance) under various programs in a quality consistent with all company policies and procedures, as well as meeting all government and regulatory requirements
• Utilize in-house technical systems and programs such as Encompass
• Thorough working knowledge of underwriting policies, compliance, and procedures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and analytical skills
