This Loan Processor role in the Funding Department helps ensure the quality of the company's loan portfolio by reviewing finance contracts and verifying information for funding decisions. It suits an organized individual who is comfortable with technology and ready to build a career in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze finance contracts submitted for funding
• Confirm that contracts and supporting documents meet SAFCO’s funding requirements and lending guidelines
• Conduct customer and other verification interviews to confirm application information
• Accurately enter and maintain information across computer systems
• Communicate professionally to resolve questions and obtain missing information

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Professional telephone skills and clear verbal and written communication
• Strong organizational and accurate data entry skills
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using web-based programs
• Ability to learn and apply SAFCO’s program requirements and lending guidelines
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to teamwork
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
