About This Role
The Loan Officer oversees fund recovery, manages availability for bookings, and ensures compliance with relevant procedures and guidelines. This role suits a professional who can build strong relationships, analyze data, and continuously improve processes while leading and developing a team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee negotiations and settlements with late-paying customers, establishing repayment plans, and working to recover outstanding funds
- Monitor day-to-day availability, including providing availability on respective platforms for hold/booking, and release to ensure timely processing
- Ensure effective and respectful communication with associates and customers, providing assistance, addressing inquiries or concerns
- Build and maintain strong relationships with associates, customers, and internal departments to foster collaboration and maintain positive associate and customer experiences
- Ensure compliance with relevant RERA Agreements, JDA Patta procedures, home loan guidelines and company rules and regulations regarding hold/booking/release of plots and payment, including maintaining appropriate documentation
- Stay updated on legal requirements and best practices to minimize legal risks
- Generate regular reports on collection performance, analyzing data and trends, identifying areas for improvement, and providing insights to senior management to support decision-making and strategy formulation
- Continuously evaluate and enhance fund and document collection processes to increase efficiency, reduce delay rates, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the fund and document collection function
- Oversee and lead a team of township managers, setting performance goals, providing guidance and support, conducting performance evaluations, and building a high-performing and motivated team
- Provide training to township managers and the team, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively carry out their roles and meet collection targets
- Perform any other works assigned by seniors
