About the role
To perform general field tasks related to tank farm and product loading operations, including piping line up, running pumps, changing filter bags, tanker loading, and sample collection. The role involves monitoring and completing product loading processes in a safe and efficient manner, performing inter-tank product transfer or blending activities, and ensuring all environmental, health and safety rules and guidelines are adhered to while maintaining high safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform general field tasks in tank farm and product loading operations, such as piping line up, running pumps, changing filter bags, tanker loading, and sample collection
- Monitor and complete product loading process in safe and efficient manner
- Perform inter-tank product transfer or blending activities by following the instructions given
- Collect samples and send to lab as per requirement; in special circumstances additional sampling may be required
- Ensure SOP, WI and operational checklist are adhered to and properly recorded as per requirement
- Fill in and complete the required loading or shipping paperwork
- Report problems or changes in the loading condition to immediate superior and assist in troubleshooting of tank farm or loading facility problems
- Perform tank dipping activities as per requirement or instruction given
- Provide concise and accurate information during shift handover meeting
- Perform housekeeping and maintain cleanliness of plant area
About you
- Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma of Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in shift or manufacturing environment
- Relevant working experience in tank farm operations and unloading/loading facility would be advantageous
