About the role
Kemps in Minneapolis has an opening for a Loader Operator in our cooler. This role will operate equipment according to established procedures, manufacture products, and assist in other department areas as needed.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Load all assembled store orders on truck and trailers following appropriate load diagrams or instructions including but not limited to floor loads, pallet loads, bossies, and home delivery trucks.
- Replenish picking inventory as needed
- Operate machinery such as: palletizer, bander, forklift or pallet jack
- Rotate products to facilitate proper code rotation
- Record information on required forms as needed
- Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
- Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
- Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Able to effectively work in a team environment
- Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
- Able to use company computer systems
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Able to follow directions
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
