Litigation Paralegal

About This Role

This litigation paralegal position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled individual to provide efficient support from the inception of personal injury cases through their resolution. The role involves working closely with attorneys and other staff, interacting with clients, and managing legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide litigation support efficiently from inception through resolution
• Work closely with other staff and attorneys
• Conduct client interviews to gather relevant information for cases
• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Maintain case files and document management systems
• Review and analyze documents for discovery purposes
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling client meetings

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of Plaintiff Personal Injury litigation experience
• Able to work as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of Court filing systems such as NYSCEF, PACER, and E-Law
• Bilingual
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients
