Summary Our client is a boutique Ohio trial firm based in Greater Cleveland representing individuals and families in complex plaintiff-side litigation matters, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and commercial transportation negligence. The firm focuses on thorough investigation, strategic case development, and aggressive trial advocacy to achieve meaningful results for clients. They are seeking a Litigation Litigation Attorney- Plaintiff Personal Injury
Responsibilities
- Investigate potential cases and evaluate legal claims
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents
- Review and analyze medical, technical, financial, and transportation-related records
- Interview clients and witnesses to develop case facts and strategy
- Assist with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
- Prepare exhibits, demonstratives, and litigation materials
- Collaborate with experts and analyze expert reports and opinions
- Assist attorneys with case strategy and client advocacy
- Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines effectively
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active Ohio Bar license or eligibility for Ohio licensure
- Experience or strong interest in personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, or commercial transportation litigation
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience drafting motions, briefs, and discovery documents
- Ability to analyze complex factual and technical information
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in developing trial advocacy skills and working in a litigation-focused environment
Preferred Experience
- Plaintiff personal injury litigation experience
- Will also consider insurance defense litigation experience with meaningful case responsibility and willing to transfer into plaintiff
- Deposition, discovery, and trial preparation experience
