As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions we are expanding our staff and seeking a Lighting Quotations Specialist to join the National Accounts team.

Job Description

Facility Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Lighting Quotations Specialist to join our growing national accounts team. This energetic driven individual would bid, create, and value engineer lighting packages for national customers. The successful candidate would be an energetic team player who possesses a keen attention to detail with the ability to perform these key responsibilities:

• Prepare competitive quotations, bid, and submittals.
• Create and maintain vendor relationships with lighting manufacturers.
• Maintain organized and accurate project files and folders.
• Negotiate pricing and availability with vendors.
• Cultivate relationships with industry professionals to build business.
• Review bid materials and make alternate recommendations to assist with customer budget constraints.
• Follow up on quotations to assist in closing new business opportunities.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
• High school or equivalent at minimum with commensurate experience.
• 3 years or more experience in the Lighting industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam REVU.
• Understanding of IESNA design guidelines.
• Able to read plans and perform take-offs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Energetic self-motivated team player.
