About This Role

This role involves ensuring the safety of guests by enforcing waterpark rules and responding to emergencies. It suits a professional and helpful individual who can maintain a safe and fun environment while embodying the company's commitment to guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times
• Participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of water park rides and park cleanliness
• Communicate with guests about attraction requirements and safety concerns
• Conduct water rescues and administering first aid or CPR as necessary
• Stay alert and regularly inspect pools and slides for any hazards or safety risks

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Complete a 3-day lifeguard certification course (if not already certified)
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others
