Life Coach - Disability Support Coach

About This Role

This hands-on role involves supporting employees with disabilities on the work floor, helping them build confidence, develop workplace skills, and complete tasks safely and successfully. It also includes assisting with external cleaning contracts when required, suiting a flexible and practical individual happy to get involved wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Support and supervise employees with disability in the workplace
• Help employees understand tasks, routines, and workplace expectations
• Build confidence, independence, and practical work skills
• Provide encouragement, mentoring, and constructive feedback
• Monitor safety, quality, and productivity on the work floor
• Assist with planning and allocating daily tasks
• Complete required documentation and progress notes
• Support the wider Bunbury team wherever needed
• Attend external cleaning contracts, including BBQ and Telstra cleaning
• Provide contract coverage during periods of leave or increased seasonal demand
• Build positive relationships with employees, colleagues, and customers

• Outgoing, approachable, and confident
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Positive and encouraging attitude
• Practical and willing to work alongside employees
• Can provide clear instructions and adapt communication style
• Organized, reliable, and safety-focused
• Can work independently when attending external contracts
• Flexible and willing to help across different work areas
• Can build positive relationships with employees and customers
• Comfortable completing hands-on cleaning work when required
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in disability support, employment services, coaching, cleaning, or supervising a team
