Licensed Telehealth Therapist / Mental Health Counselor

About This Role

This role involves providing specialized mental health services to autistic and neurodivergent adults via telehealth. You will join a team dedicated to creating affirming and accessible mental health services for the neurodivergent community. The position suits therapists passionate about neurodiversity advocacy, seeking flexibility, or looking to add specialized experience to an existing practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy for autistic and neurodivergent adults via telehealth
• Focus on exceptional client care while administrative tasks, insurance billing, and client acquisition are managed by Prosper Health
• Design your work schedule to accommodate personal needs and maintain optimal work-life balance
• Build your caseload quickly with steady client referrals, typically reaching an ideal caseload within 4-6 weeks
• Participate in regular peer consultation, specialized training, and monthly case conferences
• Work alongside clinicians committed to neurodiversity-affirming approaches
• Join weekly drop-ins and engage in a tight-knit clinical community

Requirements

• Licensed independent mental health professional (LCSW, LPC, LMHC)
• Strong clinical skills in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT or ACT
• Interest in working with autistic or neurodivergent adults
• Comfort with technology and virtual care platforms (Zoom, EHR, Slack)
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to client-centered care

Important Details

• Schedule: Set your own schedule, 7 days a week, between 7am and 10pm; no required evening, weekend or on-call hours
• Employment type: full-time (25+ hours of weekly availability to build a caseload of 25+ clients) or part-time (15+ hours of weekly availability to build a caseload of 15+ clients)
