Licensed Psychologist – Disability Evaluations (Independent Contractor)

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Schedule: Work As Little or As Much As You Like | On-Site

The IMA Group is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide disability and behavioral health evaluations as an independent contractor. This position is assessment-focused and does not involve psychotherapy, medication management, treatment planning, or ongoing patient care.

This opportunity is ideal for psychologists seeking full control over their schedule and workload while utilizing their assessment and diagnostic skills in a structured clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological disability evaluations
  • Perform Mental Status Examinations (MSEs) and other clinically appropriate assessments
  • Review relevant medical and behavioral health documentation
  • Complete objective, timely, and well-supported evaluation reports using an electronic documentation platform
  • Maintain compliance with program guidelines and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology
  • Active, unrestricted Texas Psychologist license
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments preferred
  • Strong clinical writing and documentation skills
