Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Addiction Medicine | Behavioral Health
Role Overview: Provide compassionate patient care in outpatient addiction treatment settings, supporting recovery from opioid addiction. Collaborate with medical professionals to administer medications, monitor patients, perform assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications safely under physician orders
- Monitor patients before dosing and deliver compassionate care
- Perform medication inventory and maintain accurate documentation
- Obtain vital signs, conduct TB testing, and collect lab specimens
- Assist with patient assessments and clinic operations
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CARF, DEA, and state regulations
- Answer patient questions and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Florida LPN license or multistate license
- At least 1 year of direct patient care experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or Medication-Assisted Treatment (preferred)
