PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Indirect License Accepted
Wyomissing Health & Rehabilitation Center – Reading, PA Flexible PRN Schedule | In-House Rehabilitation Team Wyomissing Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Reading, Pennsylvania . This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA looking for flexible PRN hours while making a meaningful impact on the lives of residents in a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation setting.
Candidates with an Indirect License are encouraged to apply! As a member of our interdisciplinary therapy team, you'll help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence while delivering exceptional, resident-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans for short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents.
- Assist residents in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, gait, and overall functional independence.
- Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and fall prevention strategies.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation using Net Health.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve the best possible resident outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant license or Indirect License eligible.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with Net Health is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
