About the role
What We Are Looking For Rheinmetall is seeking a motivated and commercially-minded Legal Counsel to join its Romanian organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional at an early stage of their career to work in an international business environment and contribute to the continued development of Rheinmetall’s operations in Romania.
- Advise the management and employees of Rheinmetall’s Romanian organisation on a broad range of day-to-day legal matters
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements and other legal documents
- Provide legal support on corporate matters, including corporate governance, internal approvals and company-law requirements
- Advise on regulatory matters relevant to the company’s operations, monitor legal and regulatory developments and coordinate with public authorities where required
- Identify legal risks and develop practical, business-oriented solutions
- Coordinate with Rheinmetall’s legal teams in other jurisdictions as well as with external legal advisers where required
- Deliver legal training and guidance to internal stakeholders
What Qualifications You Should Have
- Bachelor of Laws/Legal Studies degree
- Some initial, relevant experience in commercial, corporate, or business law
- Very good command of Romanian and English, both written and spoken
- Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate legal concepts into clear, practical business guidance
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, being a proactive teamplayer
- Ability to work independently on routine matters and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Experience in a multinational or matrix organization is an asset
Location: On-site, at our headquarters in Mediaș, Sibiu County. This is a full-time, office-based position — remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role. What We Offer You
