About This Role
Managing leasing operations, from tenant acquisition to deal closure and tenant handling, is the core of this role. The position suits a market-driven professional with strong execution skills and a focus on closing deals within defined timelines.
Responsibilities
- Actively source tenants through brokers, IPCs, and direct contacts
- Handle site presentations, commercial discussions, and follow-ups
- Close leasing transactions within defined timelines
- Maintain strong working relationships with local property consultants and channel partners
- Generate consistent deal pipeline through market mapping
- Track competing developments and prevailing rentals
- Support negotiations on rent, CAM, deposits, and escalation terms
- Work with Legal & Finance teams for agreement finalization
- Ensure smooth documentation and handover to tenants
- Manage tenant coordination during onboarding
- Support renewals and minimize vacancy risk
- Address basic commercial concerns with internal teams
- Maintain leasing tracker, deal pipeline, and status reports
- Provide weekly updates to management on closures and leads
Requirements
- Hands-on leasing experience, not just strategy roles
- Strong in execution and follow-up, with hunger to close deals
- Active local broker network in Bangalore
- Ability to independently manage site visits, negotiations, and documentation
- Energetic, market-driven, and comfortable working on targets
- 8 to 10 years of experience
- Graduate (BBA / B.Com / Any Discipline) - Mandatory
- Practical leasing experience is more important than qualification
- Hands-on experience in commercial leasing, preferably for office spaces
- Strong and active Bangalore-based broker/IPC network and experience in tenant acquisition
- Proven expertise in leasing execution, site visits, rental negotiations, deal closures and follow-ups
- Understanding of commercial terms such as rentals, CAM, security deposits, escalation clauses and lease agreements
