Leasing Consultant

About This Role

Leasing Consultant is responsible for greeting prospective residents, conducting property tours, and clearly explaining community features, pricing, and lease terms. This role involves managing inquiries, following up with leads, processing applications, preparing lease documents, and ensuring accurate lease administration.

• Greet prospective residents

• Support resident retention through excellent customer service
• Address resident questions and concerns
• Collaborate with the property management team on renewals and community events
• Maintain organized records
• Help ensure model and vacant units are show-ready
• Contribute to meeting occupancy and revenue goals

Requirements

• Strong lease-related skills, including knowledge of leases and experience with lease administration
• Strong resident-facing skills, including resident retention focus and customer service abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills, including clear communication and professional collaboration with residents and team members
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in property management, leasing, or a similar customer-facing role
• Proficiency with property management software and basic office applications
• Ability to work on-site, including some evenings or weekends as needed, and to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Additional education or real estate-related training
