Leasing Consultant

About This Role

This role involves managing the leasing process for a new apartment community, from initial inquiries and property tours to application review and lease preparation. It suits a detail-oriented individual with strong customer service skills who can build positive relationships with tenants and upsell additional services.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with excellent phone etiquette
• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants
• Assist in the leasing process, including application review and lease preparation
• Maintain tenant records and ensure accurate data entry and file management
• Upsell additional services or amenities to prospective tenants
• Build and maintain positive relationships with current and potential tenants

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Previous experience in leasing or customer service is a plus
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer relationship management skills
• Proficient in data entry and file management
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
• Proficient with the PM Software Onesite / RealPage
• Customer service: 2 years (Required)
