About This Role
This role is for an outgoing, motivated, and creative Leasing Specialist to join the team at Vermont Place Apartments. The position focuses on attracting new residents, maintaining positive resident relationships, increasing occupancy, and enhancing the property's online presence through engaging content and creative marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and highlight community features and available apartments
- Manage leasing inquiries, prospect follow-ups, applications, lease agreements, renewals, and move-ins
- Build positive relationships with residents and provide exceptional customer service
- Support resident retention efforts and work toward leasing, occupancy, and revenue goals
- Maintain accurate leasing records and resident information in property management systems
- Help grow and maintain the property’s online presence through social media, digital marketing, and engaging content
- Create and share photos, videos, apartment highlights, and community updates to attract prospective residents
- Maintain and update online apartment listings, advertisements, and marketing materials
- Collaborate with management to develop creative marketing strategies, promotions, and resident engagement initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve property visibility, strengthen our online reputation, and generate new leasing leads
- Work closely with management and maintenance teams to ensure a positive resident experience
- Help maintain a welcoming leasing office, attractive property appearance, and professional curb appeal
- Support daily office operations while following company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and leasing procedures
Requirements
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Creative mindset with an interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Comfortable using computers, social media platforms, and property management software
- Self-motivated, dependable, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work on-site, including weekends
