About the role
Location : Gavà, Spain, Hybrid (4 days per week in the office)
In this role, you will lead the scientific marketing of a global portfolio of cosmetic active ingredients, shaping how innovation is positioned, communicated, and adopted across markets. Acting as a key bridge between R&D, Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing, you will translate complex science into compelling, compliant, and commercially relevant value propositions that drive successful product launches and long-term portfolio growth.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Define and lead short-, mid-, and long-term innovation pipelines for cosmetic active ingredients, ensuring alignment with global business strategy.
- Develop robust business cases and prioritize projects based on strategic fit, market opportunity, and financial impact.
- Lead the Stage & Gate process for Active Ingredients innovation projects, driving disciplined execution from concept to launch.
- Lead global new product launches by defining compelling positioning and value propositions in close collaboration with R&D, Pricing, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
- Translate complex scientific data into clear, compliant, and customer-relevant product stories that support global adoption.
- Support the global sales organization by providing product expertise, customer-facing materials, and ongoing product-related support.
- Monitor market, customer, and competitive trends to continuously optimize portfolio strategy and innovation direction.
- Prepare and manage documentation related to license agreements and media copyright agreements, ensuring compliance and consistency.
Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline such as Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the cosmetic active ingredients industry, preferably in marketing and/or technical roles.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing teams in a global environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messaging to different stakeholders and audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High creativity and proficiency in PowerPoint and visual storytelling, with a proven ability to simplify complex science.
- Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, and an externally oriented mindset focused on market trends and customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications That Drive You Forward
- MBA or equivalent advanced business degree.
- Experience with digital communication tools, modern presentation formats, and visual content creation platforms.
- Familiarity with global cosmetic regulatory environments and claims substantiation processes.
