Lead Salesforce Solutions Architect
A premier global consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Lead Salesforce Solutions Architect to join their digital transformation practice in Washington, DC. In this role, you will act as the principal technical advisor for major public sector initiatives, overseeing the design and execution of enterprise level cloud ecosystems.
The successful candidate will lead high level discovery sessions, define technical roadmaps, and ensure that all Salesforce implementations are secure, scalable, and mission aligned. You will be responsible for the architectural integrity of complex projects involving Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions.
Core Responsibilities
Serve as the primary architect for large scale digital transformations within the public sector
Collaborate with executive stakeholders to translate business goals into technical strategies
Design end to end architectures including data models, integrations, and security frameworks
Lead technical delivery teams and provide mentorship to developers and junior architects
Oversee complex integrations with legacy enterprise systems using APIs and middleware
Participate in pre sales activities, including solution estimation and technical demonstrations
Maintain governance standards and ensure adherence to platform best practices
Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI and automation to drive innovation
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 8 years in enterprise technology design with a heavy focus on Salesforce
Must be a US Citizen due to government contract requirements
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Extensive experience in application, data, and integration architecture
Background working with government agencies or highly regulated environments
Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and modern deployment frameworks
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
Willingness to travel up to 10 percent as required by project needs
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect or System Architect
Direct experience with OmniStudio and Public Sector Solutions
Familiarity with GovCloud environments and federal security standards
Knowledge of DevOps tools like Copado, GitHub, or Azure DevOps
Experience with enterprise frameworks like TOGAF
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is between 149,000 and 248,000 dollars annually, based on experience and credentials.
